Die ästhetische Erfassung und physische Konfrontation spielen eine zentrale Rolle
für die Bildung von kognitivem Widerstand gegen politische, ideologische und wirtschaftliche Machtstrukturen. Ein radikales Verstehen und Widerstehen dieser techno_logischen Strukturen wird jedoch durch ihre beschleunigte Verteilung, Digitalisierung, Dematerialisierung und infrastrukturelle Streuung immer anspruchsvoller.
Warum erscheinen Infrastrukturen so unsichtbar und unerreichbar? Welche wissenschaftlichen, politischen und ästhetischen Implikationen versammeln sich unter und
an ihren Gehäusen? Wie können ihre Funktionen und Mechanismen verstanden werden? Kann es noch angemessene Methoden und Techniken geben, um ihrer Immaterialität, Technizität und Komplexität gerecht zu werden?

Videos and Performances on Mapping Rampant Complexity
Aesthetical recognition and physical encounters of various power patterns have played a crucial role throughout history
in strategizing cognitive resistance against dominant political and economical ideologies. However, accelerated decentralizations of political, economical and ideological power structures have increasingly complicated an understanding and confronting of these structures from a radical perspective.
Why do infrastructures seem so invisible or inaccessible? Which scientific, political,
and aesthetic implications coalesce under and above their shells? How should
we understand their functions and mechanisms? What are the appropriate tools and methods to cope with their immateriality
and complexity?
